Try this self-head-massage to help you sleep

It’s hard to get a good nights sleep when you’re carrying tension in your mind and body. A soothing massage just before bed can ease tension and stress, and help you relax and unwind.

But how can you have a massage just before bed? The answer, is self-massage.

One of my favourite, is a head massage. Don't rush this- spend a minute on each step.

Step 1: Using your middle finger, press and knead the acupoint located in the middle of the top of your head. It’s the soft spot which is also at the midpoint of the line that connects both ears.

Step 2: With the tip of the middle fingers, knead the pair of acupoints located at the inner ends of the eyebrows.

Step 3: While your eyes are closed, gently wipe the upper orbits of the eyes from the inside to the outside of eyebrows. Then proceed to the lower part of orbits.

Step 4: With the tip of the middle fingers, knead the pair of acupoints located at the temples.

Step 5: With the tips of the fingers, wipe with gentle pressure down the jawline to the chin, up to below the lips, then back to ears

Step 6: With all fingers, starting below the ears, wipe down the side of the neck. Repeat from behind the ears, gradually moving back around neck.

Step 7: Rub your palms against each other until they’re warm enough. Cover your eyes with your warm palms for up to a minute.

Our Rest & Refresh box has a glorious massage-melt that is hard at room temperature, but melts on contact with skin. Made with pure cocoa & shea butter and no fragrences, it is gentle and kind to the skin.
